Itajime&Shibori dyeing workshop (Bandana or Tenugui)
An indigo farmer and dyer Ken Yuki will teach you about indigo farming, indigo vat making briefly and Shiori(tie) or Itajime(clamped) dye technique through a fermenting SUKUMO indigo vat which was made by Japanese traditional method. You will be able to dye your beautiful pattern and take home a cotton Bandana(or cotton Tenugui) on the same day.
Product: Cotton bandana(21.6 × 21.6 inch) or Cotton tenugui(13.3 × 8.5 inch)

Roketsu dyeing workshop (Bandana)
An indigo farmer and dyer Ken Yuki will teach you about indigo farming, indigo vat making briefly and Roketsu(batik) dye technique through a fermenting SUKUMO indigo vat which was made by Japanese traditional method.
You will be able to dye your beautiful drawing and take home a cotton Bandana on the same day.

Bassen dyeing workshop (Bandana)
An indigo farmer and dyer Ken Yuki will teach you about indigo farming, indigo vat making briefly and Bassen(discharge) dye technique.
You will be able to make your own bandana and take home on the same day.
We use several design patterns of silkscreen or katagami.
Participants will not be able to dye, we will use ready dyed bandana by BUAISOU.

Katazome dyeing workshop (Two coasters)
An indigo farmer and dyer Ken Yuki will teach you about indigo farming, indigo vat making briefly and Katazome(stencil dye) technique through a fermenting SUKUMO indigo vat which was made by Japanese traditional method. You You will be able to make your Katagami(Stencil waxed paper) with your beautiful pattern and take home two ramie coasters on the same day.
